ABOUT US

Southeast Iowa Housing, Inc. (SIHI) was incorporated in 2014 to develop new housing units in Des Moines, Henry, Lee and Louisa counties. SIHI’s emphasis is to serve low to moderate income homeowners, redevelop neighborhoods and take risk otherwise difficult for the private sector. 

SIHI is a 501(c)(3) organization and is governed by a board of directors. SEIRPC staff operates the organization and cultivates projects. Each of SIHI’s past projects are infill projects where a dilapidated home was demolished, and a new home built in its place.
