WHAT WE DO

SEIRPC staff can update their ordinances in coordination with cities and counties. These can range from a wide variety of codes of ordinances, zoning or subdivision ordinances, nuisance, inspection, stormwater utility and other related ordinances.

SEIRPC staff is fully equipped to manage land use administration for its communities and counties. Currently, SEIRPC staff acts as the Land Use Administrator in all unincorporated areas of Des Moines County. Subdivisions, floodplains and building permits are included in this role.
