WHAT IS URBAN RENEWAL/REVITALIZATION PLANNING?

An Urban Renewal Plan is designed to address goals of economic development to assist City leaders in implementing long range plans. Adoption of the Urban Renewal Plan allows city leaders to encourage public/private investment in economic activities through the creation of a TIF District and assist in the creation of a better quality of life through infrastructure, housing or other investments.
